This is Your Day

Our opening scripture today is Luke 16:13  which states, “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”    The choice is yours, you have to choose this day whom you shall serve.

This is Your Day Turn to God

Pastor Mary Rice of God’s People Outreach Ministries-Florida invokes the challenge to take charge of  your life by giving your life to Christ. This is your day to give your life to Christ.  This is your day to receive deliverance from your desperate situation.  This is your day to assure your soul goes to heaven while you have a chance.  We do not want rocks crying out for us, we need to acknowledge who God is,  and what He has done for us.  This is the day to choose to glorify God.   This is the day you can choose to lay down your sins and walk with Jesus.   THIS IS YOUR DAY!

Again we turn our attention to the scriptures, reviewing Psalms 105:4 “Seek the Lord and his strength seek the Lord evermore!”.  We can’t wait around as though we surely know the day or the hour Jesus will return, for the scriptures state. “no man knows the day nor the hour.”   Therefore, choose you this day who you are going to serve.    This is no play thing,  this is the real deal and Jesus is the only deal.   You accepting Jesus is to assure you make it to heaven, but if  you are still here it is because YOU are valuable to God, He has something for you to do.   Seek the Lord in what He will have you do to build His kingdom.

The bible reminds us that all have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).    Lets not wear our Christianity on our sleeves only, that is Christianity for show.    Don’t let the Devil  allow your past to ruin your future.  Learn to repent from whatever, don’t sit in guilt and shame for situations of the past.   Repent, don’t simply apologize or say you are sorry, Repent turn from the sin which does so easily beset you.

We have to live what we say, preachers we need to live what we are preaching.  Let’s not just quote the scripture, but lets live the scriptures as well.   There is no such thing as  “almost dead”, or “almost alive” you are either dead or alive.   You are either hot or cold!  Get off the fence, ain’ts and saints.  Do not be lukewarm, or the Lord will  spew you out of his mouth.  Each day is a gift for us, to either accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior or for us to commit our ways to the Lord for him to establish our thoughts (Proverbs 16:3) to perform His will in life.

In your designated study time remember the biblical instruction  to honor the word of God and  handle it with care and concern.   I Timothy 4:13-16 tells us to learn and reference the word as a doctrine for ourselves.   If you are ready to experience a change in your life, a new view of life from a saved Christian perspective (step 1) click here and accept Jesus today!  If you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior today,  we welcome you to the family of Christ.  It is always our practice as ministers to give you your next step (step- 2)  Find a bible believing and especially teaching church and get in their bible study immediately.   As Minister Rice stated, you must learn the word of God yourself and observe it as your doctrine for life more abundantly.   Congratulations on your wise decision, join us in prayer during the weekday and we look forward to ministering next week.   Please be reminded this message is for everyone, saved and unsaved always.  If you are a Christian you are encouraged to strengthen your knowledge and lifestyle bit by bit through the Holy Spirit and studying of the word.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Christene
