“Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to count the omer: Tonight will be the 47th night of the Omer, which is Six Weeks, and five days.
Day 47 Psalm 119: 17-24
17 Deal generously with your servant; then I will live and observe your word.
18 Open my eyes, so that I will see wonders from your Torah.
19 Though I’m just a wanderer on the earth, don’t hide your mitzvot from me.
20 I am continually consumed with longing for your rulings.
21 You rebuke the proud, the cursed, who stray from your mitzvoth (commandments).
22 Remove scorn and contempt from me, because I observe your instruction.
23 Even when princes sit and plot against me, your servant meditates on your laws.
24 Also your instructions are my delight; they are my counselors.
Meditation Day 47
The time we have spent exercising our hearts to condition them in a permanent sincere bend toward YHWH our God is what we have accomplished after 47 days. A habit, whether good or bad is developed in 21 days, this is what psychologist claim. I believe YHWH knows best. The waiting and worshiping surrounding the 49 days of counting the Omer creates a habit or pattern that sears our heart with grace as we are obedient to YHWH’s words. We are responsible for developing new wine skins, so to speak, to be filled with YHWH’s new gift hand selected only for you. The gift of the Torah and the Holy Spirit were powerful, it is only befitting to expect the GREAT from YHWH!!!!! Review what you have captured about your personal walk with Yeshua (Jesus). How do you now understand Him and your relationship? Have you grown closer, do you relate clearer to Jesus as your brother? Did the examples we read of King David’s journey in the wilderness relate to you in today’s society? You should have a ready answer to the powers that be.
Loving you enough to share the truth,
Prophetess C. C.
